Pacquiao vs. Mayweather Tickets on Schedule for November!

Those Mayweather vs. Pacquiao tickets are going on sale, make no mistake about that! From Manila, Boxing champ Manny Pacquiao has spoke again about his desire to step into the ring with his rival and sort this thing out once and for all. Pacquiao, currently enjoying recognition a newly elected Filipino congressman, has suggested that November will be the month Pacquiao Mayweather tickets yield their boxing bounty. There was some discussion as to whether Pacman’s opponent might actually be Antonio Margarito, but we are to expect a Pacquiao Margarito fight to be simply another stopgap before the Mayweather fight comes along – and a very poor second choice at that! That’s not to say that Margarito isn’t a fine boxer and a tough opponent, it’s just not got the same ring to it as Pacman versus MoneyMay!

Two dates now loom on the world boxing horizon: November 6 and November 13. These have been reserved for a fight at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Texas, and it can surely only be one fight.

Everyone wants to see Pacquiao and Mayweather fight, and nobody knows who will win. That’s the beauty of this matchup; it’s quite literally the best prospect for a real bout in years. It’s a welterweight era right now, and watching the world’s top two will be a massive treat for fight fans. The pound-for-pound kings are likely wary of facing each other, but the purse from this one is so huge that neither fighter can really afford to refuse it. When the scheduled Mayweather Pacquiao fight fell through in March, it looked hopeless, but now a new hope is in the air, and it could well be on again. Mayweather v Pacquiao tickets in that glorious stadium…heaven if you’re a boxing fan…just a case of waiting to see who’ll win now. What a fantastic year in boxing, and it’s about to be crowned with the biggest fight in decades in November.

Pacquiao gave an unexpected reason for his sudden re-interest in facing Mayweather: His mother said it was OK. The decision to climb back in the ring was sanctioned by Pacman’s mother Dionisia, and Pacquiao explained, “So many fans want me to fight Mayweather so I asked my mother to allow me to fight one more time, and she said, ‘Okay’. My mother agreed.” And it’s gonna be awesome….thanks, Mrs. P!
